Walang basehan ang mga Facebook posts na kumalat kamakailan na nagsasabing papalitan na ni dating Biliran representative Glenn Chong sa puwesto si Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon.

Ang nasabing Facebook post na may caption na, “KAKAPASOK LANG SHOCKING. ATTY GLENN CHONG PAPALITAN NA SI ROWENA GUANZON JAMES JIMENEZ SIBAK SA COMELEC,” ay may kasamang video ng panayam kay Chong na tumagal nang 14 minuto.

Pero walang nabanggit si Chong dito tungkol sa diumano’y napipinto niyang pagpalit ng puwesto kay Commisioner Guanzon.

Umabot na sa 7,500 reactions, halos 2,000 comments at nai-share ng halos 3,000 beses ang nasabing post.

Ayon kay Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez, pawang ispekulasyon o haka-haka lamang ang mga alegasyong tulad nito dahil tanging ang Pangulo lamang ang may kapangyarihang magtalaga ng mga Commissioner.
