The founder of Kingdom of Jesus Christ and Sonshine Media Network International Pastor Apollo Quiboloy lashed out at the four presidential candidates for the 2022 national polls who did not attend the presidential debates organized by SMNI.

In a video titled, “Pastor Apollo hinamon ang mga no show sa SMNI Debate” published on March 1, 2022, Quiboloy stated that the whole setup went through his approval except for the questions. He added, “Kaya nga sinabi ni Propesor Clarita Carlos [na] hindi nga niya inilagay sa internet para hindi ma-hack eh. Eh ito namang si misis isa [referring to VP Robredo], nanghihingi naman ng forward question eh hindi maaari. Wala yun! Oh. Eh diyan sa CNN [Philippines], halatang-halatang may mga kodigo kayo eh. The Facts: Professor Clarita Carlos has not mentioned that VP Robredo asked for questions in advance. Moreover, a CNN Philippines anchor and producer affirmed that there were no advance questions given to the candidates.
