Hindi totoo ang kumakalat ngayon sa text, chat groups, at social media na maaaring tamaan ang pangalan ng ibang kandidato kung babakat ang shade mula sa likuran ng balota. Ito rin daw ang magiging dahilan para hindi bilangin ng vote counting machine ang boto.

Mariin itong pinabulaanan ng COMELEC. Ayon kay Comelec Commissioner George Garcia, hindi ito totoo dahil wala namang magkakatapat na oval sa likod at harap ng balota.

“Fake news. Wala pong oval na magkatapat back and forth sa lahat ng positions,” ani Garcia sa isang mensahe na ipinadala sa ABS-CBN Fact Check Team.
