The Facts: A circulating video from TikTok shows a news report supposedly from TV5’s Frontline Pilipinas Tonight claiming that voters are required to wear faceshields, as well as to present their vaccination cards when voting for the 2022 election.
The video came from Tiktok, from a user named Rowrow Iglop with the username @rowrow.nov.03bbm2022. Although the video recognizes the date of the report which is January 27, 2022, the user still captioned “Sana lahat ng uniteam supporters na botante ay na vaccine na…” The video is still posted in the user’s TikTok page until today.
Aside from the news report being extremely outdated, Comelec Commissioner George Erwin Garcia already stated that face shields and vaccination cards are no longer needed at polling precincts on the May 9 election.
