The Facts: The tweet, made on June 3, 2022 by @NewGovOrgABF, shares an image which shows an apparent “official” announcement from @VPPilipinas, the Office of the Vice President’s official twitter account.
The image shows a quote from an unknown source which states: “Hindi po nagtatapos ang ating laban sa ating pagbaba sa puwesto bilang Bise Presidente. Papunta pa lang tayo sa exciting part. Inaanunsyo po natin ang Angat Buhay Alliance. Kasama ang matatapang at magigiting na grupo ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) at New People’s Army (NPA). Sila ang ating katuwang sa paglagay ng New Government para sa Angat Buhay Lahat.”
The tweet claims this is an “Official announcement of @VPPilipinas” despite the fact the account @VPPilipinas has not made any tweet since February 3, 2022. Twitter account of the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines:
Leni Robredo has also stated that the Twitter account @NewGovOrgABF is not associated with the Office of the Vice President and its Angat Buhay programs.
