A TikTok video has passed off protesters shouting expletives against the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. in 2016 as supporters of Vice President and presidential bet Leni Robredo supposedly cursing her rival, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., during one of her campaign rallies.

The video was posted on March 21 by a Marcos Jr. supporter with the caption: “Educated but…?” and a text overlay of “KAKAMPINKS: ‘We are educated.’”

At the 00:17 time mark, it showed a video clip of a group of people in the middle of the road chanting: “Fuck you, Marcos! Fuck you, Marcos!”

The comment section of the post was filled with comments calling Robredo supporters “ill-mannered” and “disrespectful.”

However, keyword searches revealed that the people in the clip were not “kakampinks” or Robredo supporters. They were students of the Ateneo de Manila University protesting against the burial of Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Nov. 18, 2016.
