The image, once looked at closely, shows that the area had been edited. Using an editing tool, the perpetrator colored the box white where the name of Leni Robredo is in. This can be further proven by the excess of white on the blue border above the box.
It was also stated by COMELEC themselves that this New Zealand ballot had been deliberately edited. The perpetrator and their motivation behind this is still unknown.
