Netizens are circulating a video of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong surrounding Vice President Sara Duterte and chanting for her impeachment. This is fake.

On March 9, a netizen uploaded on Facebook (FB) and TikTok a 16-second clip showing a frenzied crowd following the vice president along a sidewalk.

The video made it seem that the people were repeatedly shouting:

“Impeach. Impeach. Impeach Sara.”

It also carried the text:

“PATI SA HONG KONG SINUSUKA SI SARA (EVEN IN HONG KONG THEY ARE DISOWNING SARA).”

This video is altered. A different audio clip from a protest in the Philippines calling for Duterte’s impeachment was laid on top of the Hong Kong clip.
